Good morning ma-am,
Our unit here in Afghanistan recently received a package
from the Blue Star Moms of Valencia County. Included were some notes
from some children at the Bosque Farms Elementary School.
... Everyone here was excited to get the packages, and we
put them out in a common area for everyone to be able to share.
I have quite a few younger
brothers and sisters back home, so it was cool for me to get the
kid's [sic] notes and artwork.
Please pass along our thanks!
Cheers!

Dear 4th and 5th graders
of Bosque Farms Elementary School.
I am very honored to
receive such gracious cards from each and everyone of you. The
hearts of all servicemen and servicewomen are beating for you. We
stand ready to defend you from anything in the world.
I wanna
thank you for your thoughts and kind words. A
little kindness in the world can go a long way and as Americans we
strive to represent our home, families,
and values in the best possible way.
This kindness you have
given me today is further testimony to the great country which we
live in. Listen to your teachers and learn because the pen is always
mightier than the sword.
You may not understand
that now but some day you will. Try to make good grades and never be
afraid to ask for help. ...
Sincerely
HM2(FMF/SW)
Baggett,
Kevin E.
